BDS complete coilover conversion upgrade kits for the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500HD allow you to convert a standard lifted suspension into a coilover system. These kits include heavy-duty brackets and FOX 2.5 Coilovers, and are compatible with existing BDS 6.5-inch lift kits for seamless integration. A bolt-on bracket mounts the coilovers to the frame at the shock mount location, and a weld-in support gusset reinforces the upper mount. The factory torsion bars are replaced, and both the upper and lower control arms are upgraded to accommodate the new coilovers. BDS-designed tubular performance upper control arms work in conjunction with the 2.5 coilovers, while the new lower control arms are built from high-strength steel, fully boxed, and internally gusseted.
FOX 2.5 Factory DSC shocks deliver on-road comfort and off-road performance capability. Tuned and ready to install out of the box, these 2.5-inch diameter shocks include a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to maintain operating temperatures in rough terrain. The Dual Speed Control (DSC) adjuster provides 10 separate low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels, adjustable via two knobs. The reservoir features a black anodized aluminum construction for increased cooling efficiency.
The included upper control arms use 1.5-inch OD x .120-wall tubular construction with an indexed ball joint cup to correct ball joint positioning, allowing additional down travel and camber adjustment. Frame mounting ends use durometer-specific rubber bushings for maintenance-free operation, while the ball joint end features a greaseable ball joint for smooth, quiet operation and long-term durability. Arms are finished in a durable black powder coat with a billet aluminum dust cap.
