Overview

This BDS 6-inch lift kit is designed for 2015–2019 Chevy Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon/Yukon XL 1500 4WD models equipped with the factory Autoride system. The kit improves stance, performance, and off-road capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. It corrects suspension and steering geometry at the new ride height for maintained on-road handling characteristics.

Up front, the kit includes a full-length NX2 nitrogen charged strut, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multipiece differential relocation bracket system, and heavy-duty skid plates for off-road protection. CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the lifted height, and the kit also includes sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, and CV spacers. In the rear, BDS Pro-Ride coil springs are paired with anti-sway bar links, a track bar relocation system, and adjustable upper control arms for proper pinion angle adjustment. Rear sensors are relocated using supplied brackets, and rear shock extensions retain the factory electronic dampers.

Important Notes

• Frame bracket modification and welding are required.
• 20-inch wheels with 5-inch to 5-3/4-inch backspacing are recommended to reduce trimming.
• AWD models may require front driveline modification.
• Factory 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod interference.
• GM produces several knuckle/control arm configurations in 2015–2019 models. Cast Steel control arm equipped models require the Cast Steel Control Arm kit. Stamped Steel and Aluminum control arm equipped models require the Aluminum Control Arm kit. Verify which factory control arms your vehicle has before ordering.
