Cast Steel and Aluminum/Stamped Steel control arm configurations require different knuckle kits and are not interchangeable.

Overview

This BDS 4-inch lift kit is designed for 2015–2019 Chevy Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Yukon/Yukon XL 1500 4WD models. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 33-inch tires. It utilizes a high-clearance design to improve ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling.

Up front, the kit includes full-length replacement strut shocks, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height using CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, and all necessary hardware are also included. Rear lift is achieved via coil spring spacers to properly level the vehicle, paired with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coil-over shocks.

Important Notes

*IMPORTANT*: GM is producing several knuckle/control arm configurations in 2014–2017 model trucks. Cast Steel control arm equipped models will require the "Cast Steel Control Arm" kit. Stamped Steel and Aluminum control arm equipped models will require the "Aluminum Control Arm" kit. Be sure to verify which factory control arms your truck has before ordering by referencing the help images when customizing your kit. Requires frame bracket modification. 20" wheels with 5" to 5-3/4" backspacing are recommended to reduce trimming. AWD models may require front driveline modification. Factory 17" and 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod interference. Will not work with auto-ride or Magna-ride equipped vehicles.
