Rear lift is achieved via replacement leaf springs with multi-leaf progressive design for a smooth ride, maintaining factory payload weight ratings. Sized for a 3-1/2 inch rear axle. Equipped with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston, and application-specific valving with a clear anodized finish.

Overview

BDS Suspension engineered this 6-inch lift kit with long arm conversion for 2009–2013 Dodge Ram 2500 gas-powered 4WD trucks. This kit is designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. The long lower control arms are built to reduce caster change through wheel travel, creating a more controlled steering feel. The long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms, contributing to overall suspension stability.

Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms with mounting brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar links, and precision-tuned shocks. In the rear, the kit is available with either heavy duty cast steel lift blocks (with longer u-bolts) or replacement leaf springs, paired with a matching set of shocks.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs: A pair of full-length, gas-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are included to provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel as direct OE replacements, they are engineered with properly sized wire diameter for maximum reliability without premature coil bind.

Steering Correction: A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle once lifted, paired with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Important Notes

• Measure rear axle tube before ordering. Some 4-inch axle models with dual overloads will require u-bolt 4068.
• Power Wagon applications require sway bar link kit #122401. The Power Wagon has a 2-inch taller ride height, so net lift gain will be 4 inches.
• If driveline vibration occurs, order transfer case index kit #122801 or #122802.
• Rear brake lines (102009) will not fit 2012–13 models.
