Rear lift is achieved via multi-leaf progressive rate leaf springs designed for a 3-1/2 inch rear axle. The leaf spring design maintains factory payload weight ratings and provides a smooth ride while eliminating the need for lift blocks. Paired with NX2 Nitro Series shocks featuring a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, and silver powder coat finish.
This 6-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for the 2009–2013 Dodge RAM 2500 4WD gas-powered truck. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 36-inch tires. BDS engineered new lower control arms that are longer than stock to rotate the axle for proper alignment, along with a relocation mounting bracket to flatten the upper control arm angle and maintain factory handling characteristics.
Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus a relocation bracket, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar links, and precision-tuned shocks. The rear configuration is available with either heavy-duty cast steel lift blocks with longer u-bolts, or replacement multi-leaf progressive rate leaf springs — each paired with a matching set of shocks.
A pair of full-length, gas-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high-tensile steel with properly sized wire diameters, these direct OE replacement coil springs deliver maximum reliability without premature coil bind.
A forged drop pitman arm minimizes the steering angle once the vehicle is lifted. It is paired with a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering components in phase throughout suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
