This variant includes rear lift springs in place of a block kit. The multi-leaf progressive spring design delivers a smooth ride while maintaining factory payload weight ratings. Longer u-bolts are included to complete the rear installation.

Overview

This 6-inch lift kit with long arm and FOX 2.5 coil-over conversion from BDS Suspension is designed for 2009–2013 Dodge RAM 2500 4WD diesel trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. It features proprietary FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks engineered to bolt on for increased travel, improved off-road capability, and smooth on-road comfort. BDS developed a mounting system that bolts directly to the factory coil mounts with only minor trimming and drilling required, and includes weld-in reinforcements at the axle for superior strength. The long lower control arms are designed to reduce caster change through wheel travel for more controlled steering feel. This long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms for added suspension stability.

Important Notes

• Measure rear axle tube before ordering. Some 4-inch axle models with dual overloads will require u-bolt 4068.
• Although unusual, if driveline vibration occurs, order the appropriate transfer case drop kit: 122602 (03–05 Diesel Auto), 122605 (06–08 Diesel Auto), or 122606 (03–13 Diesel Auto with OE mount P/N 52121938AA) available in options, or t-case index kit #122801 (auto) or #122802 (manual transmission). Optional transfer case drop kits fit automatic transmission models only.
• Exhaust modification will be required for dual rear shock kit 122009 on 6.7L Diesel models.
• 102009 Rear brake lines will not fit 2012–13 models.
