BDS 4 Inch Lift Kit | Ram 1500 (2013-2018) 4WD | 2 Inch Rear Coil Spacer | FOX 2.0 Performance Series Shocks

This variant uses a 2 Inch Rear Coil Spacer to achieve rear lift height, working in conjunction with upper control arm relocation brackets, track bar relocation bracket, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links. Paired with FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston, and application-specific valving with a clear anodized finish.

Overview

This BDS Suspension 4-inch suspension lift kit is designed for the 2013–2018 Ram 1500 4WD and provides clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The kit takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance design to improve ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry to maintain on-road handling characteristics.

Up front, the kit includes top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, heavy-duty skid plates, CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, replacement tie rod ends, sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, CV spacers, and all necessary hardware. In the rear, the kit includes a rear upper control arm relocation bracket to correct pinion angle, a track bar relocation bracket to correct axle positioning, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links. Rear lift is achieved via either full replacement rear coil springs or a 2-inch coil spacer depending on variant selected.

Important Notes

• The rack and pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As you increase the tire diameter and/or decrease the wheel backspacing the more sensitive the system becomes and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
• Not recommended for AWD models.
• Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be re-installed. Stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with a factory tire.
• Will not fit adjustable air suspension equipped models.
• This kit will bolt on Eco-Diesel models but will require an aftermarket front drive shaft.
