Configured with 3 Inch Rear Coil Springs — select this option if your vehicle sits 3 inches tail high from the factory. Paired with FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.
Overview
BDS Suspension's 6-inch suspension lift kit is engineered specifically for the 2012 RAM 1500 4WD, improving stance, ground clearance, and off-road capability while accommodating tires up to 37 inches. The kit leverages BDS's high-clearance design philosophy, correcting suspension and steering geometry at the new ride height to preserve on-road handling characteristics.
Up front, the system employs top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates. CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends correct steering geometry at the lifted height while maintaining ESC system compatibility. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, CV spacers, and all required hardware are also included. In the rear, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are paired with upper control arm relocation brackets to correct pinion angle, a track bar relocation bracket to correct axle positioning, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links. Rear damping is handled by your choice of NX2 Nitro Series or FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series shocks.

Important Notes
- These trucks vary from 1"–3" tail high from the factory. Measure your vehicle before ordering. The 022209, 022309, and 022509 coil springs can all be substituted to achieve the desired stance.
- The Rack and Pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As tire diameter increases and/or wheel backspacing decreases, the system becomes more sensitive and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
- Not recommended for AWD models.
- Stock 17" and 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled. Stock 20" wheels can be reinstalled with a factory tire.
- TRX models will achieve approximately 1" of additional lift. This lift is not recommended for TRX models due to possible CV shaft vibration caused by the additional lift. Consider the 4" lift system for 5" of lift, or replace the TRX struts with standard struts for use with this system.
- Will not fit adjustable air suspension equipped models.
- THIS KIT DOES NOT FIT 2013 MODELS.
- This kit is FMVSS No. 126 Compliant.
