Rear lift provided by a cast iron block kit sized for a 3-1/2 inch rear axle. Blocks are tapered for correct pinion angle; the offset steel pin restores axle position and reduces axle wrap. Shocks are NX2 Nitro Series: nitrogen-charged, twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends, 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, and self-lubricating seals with a silver powder coat finish.
Overview
BDS Suspension engineered this 8-inch lift kit with long-arm conversion for the 2009–2013 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel and 2009–2012 Ram 3500 diesel 4WD trucks. The kit is designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for tires up to 38 inches. The long lower control arms reduce caster change through wheel travel for a more controlled steering feel, and the system retains the factory triangulation of the arms for added suspension stability.
Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus mounting brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar links, and precision-tuned shocks. In the rear, the kit uses heavy-duty cast steel blocks or leaf springs (depending on configuration), longer U-bolts, and a matched set of shocks.

Important Notes
- Measure rear axle tube before ordering. Some 4-inch axle models with dual overloads will require UBT4068.
- Rear lift options will not fit dually applications.
- If driveline vibration occurs, order either transfer case drop. NOTE: 122606 transfer case drop kit will only replace the OE bracket #52121938AA.
- 102009 Rear brake lines will not fit 2012–2013 models.
- Additional front driveline modification may be required.
- Exhaust modification will be required for dual rear shock kit 122009.
- 2500 Gas models will require modification to the front exhaust crossover pipe on driver side for proper clearance when a transfer case indexing ring kit is installed.
