BDS 6 Inch Lift Kit | Dodge Ram 1500 (2009-2011) 4WD | 5 Inch Coil Springs | NX2 Nitro Series Shocks

Configured with 5 Inch Coil Springs — select this option if your vehicle sits level to 1 inch tail high from the factory. Rear damping is provided by NX2 Nitro Series nitrogen-charged twin-tube shocks featuring 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, dual-welded ends, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.

Overview

BDS Suspension offers a 6-inch suspension lift kit for 2009–2011 Dodge RAM 1500 4WD trucks, designed to improve stance, performance, and capability with clearance for up to 37-inch tires. The kit takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling.

Up front, the kit utilizes top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends, maintaining ESC system compatibility. Additional front components include sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, CV spacers, and all required hardware.

The rear of the kit uses progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs, rear upper control arm relocation brackets to correct pinion angle, a track bar relocation bracket to correct axle positioning, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links. Important Notes

• These trucks can vary from 1" to 3" tail high from the factory. Measure your vehicle before ordering to select the correct coil spring option.
• Part numbers 022209, 022309, and 022509 can all be substituted to achieve the desired stance.
• The rack and pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As tire diameter increases and/or wheel backspacing decreases, the system becomes more sensitive and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
• Not recommended for AWD models.
• Stock 17" and 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled. Stock 20" wheels can be reinstalled with factory tires.
• TRX models will achieve approximately 1" of additional lift. This lift is not recommended for TRX models due to possible CV shaft vibration. Consider the 4" lift system for 5" of lift, or replace TRX struts with standard struts before using this system.
