This configuration uses a Block Kit rear lift option paired with NX2 Nitro Series shocks. The rear lift block is cast iron for strength, tapered for correct pinion angle, with an offset steel pin and hole to restore axle position. NX2 Nitro shocks feature a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends for increased strength, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.
This 4-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion from BDS Suspension is designed for 2011–2016 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty diesel-powered trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-link control arms with conversion brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the kit features a high-strength fabricated lift block or leaf spring option, a u-bolt flip kit for maximum clearance, brake line brackets, and a matched set of shocks.
The 4-Link conversion replaces the factory stamped steel radius arms with BDS high-strength ¼-inch steel brackets, HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning, and limits caster change throughout wheel travel. Diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Steering geometry is optimized via a forged drop pitman arm and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering components in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
