BDS 6 Inch Lift Kit | Ford F100/F150 (1980-1996) 4WD | 4 Inch Block Kit with Add-A-Leaf

This variant includes a 4 Inch Steel Block Kit with Add-A-Leaf for the rear. The add-a-leaf features a multi-leaf progressive design that maintains factory payload weight ratings while reducing axle wrap for a more controlled and stable feel. High-strength cast steel lift blocks provide correct pinion angles and a level stance.

Overview

This 6-inch suspension lift kit by BDS is designed for 1980–1983 Ford F100 and 1980–1996 Ford F150 4WD trucks. The kit is engineered to improve stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes Pro-Ride coil springs, axle pivot relocation brackets, radius arm drop brackets, a forged pitman arm for steering correction, and precision-tuned NX2 Nitro nitrogen-charged shocks. The rear configuration varies by selected variant and is paired with a matching set of NX2 Nitro shocks.

Important Notes

• Front end alignment required after installation. Alignment cams may be required — see page 118.
• #123401 recommended if equipped with a front anti-sway bar. Ford produced 3 different styles of sway bar systems between 1980 and 1996. In extremely rare cases, modification may be required.
• Extended brake lines required for all 4–6 inch lifts.
• Does not fit F150 models without power steering.
