Overview

This 2-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed to improve the stance, performance, and capability of the 1986–1991 Jeep Comanche MJ. The kit provides clearance for up to 30-inch tires and includes all components necessary for installation. Up front, ProRide coil springs deliver the correct lift height with a smooth, predictable ride. Out back, a long thin add-a-leaf increases rear height without creating a harsh ride. Shocks are specially tuned for this application to complement the spring rates and improve overall damper performance.

  • ProRide coil springs offer improved ride quality and more articulation
  • Easy, 100% bolt-on installation

Important Notes

The Jeep Comanche was produced with two different rear axles (Chrysler 8.25 or Dana 35). You will need to measure your rear u-bolts to ensure that you get the correct new u-bolts. Basically, just measure the diameter of the axle or the I.D. of your rear u-bolts. Chrysler axles require 3" wide u-bolts and Dana 35 axles require 2-3/4" wide u-bolts. Some 1987–1990 models came with a Dana 44 — measure and call BDS for proper u-bolt fitment.
