Configured for trucks without factory top-mounted overload springs. Rear lift is achieved via high-strength fabricated steel lift blocks with longer U-bolts. Paired with NX2 Nitro Series shocks featuring nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, dual-welded ends for increased strength, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.
This 4-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion from BDS Suspension is designed for 2005–2007 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty gas trucks (4WD). The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-link control arms with conversion brackets, a forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the kit is available with a high-strength steel lift block and longer U-bolts or an upgraded rear leaf spring option, paired with your choice of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks.
The 4-Link conversion replaces the factory stamped steel radius arms to optimize suspension geometry for better handling, strength, and stability. This bolt-on upgrade uses high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets that allow mounting of HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning and limit caster change throughout wheel travel. Gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. A forged drop pitman arm and heavy-duty track bar drop bracket maintain proper steering geometry once lifted, keeping components in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
These trucks were manufactured with and without top-mounted overload springs on the rear leaf springs. A top-mounted overload is an extra leaf separate from the pack that sits above the main leaf. You will need to identify which configuration your truck has before ordering. Removal of O.E. block in the rear is required. Front dual shock hoop requires different cylinders than what comes in the base kit. If equipped with a 2-piece driveshaft, a driveshaft alignment kit may be required.
