BDS 10 Inch Lift Kit | 2000-2005 Ford Excursion 4WD | w/ NX2 Nitro Series Shocks

Configured with NX2 Nitro Series shocks front and rear. NX2 shocks feature a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends for increased strength, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.

Overview

This 10-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 2000–2005 Ford Excursion 4WD trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 38-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes Glide-Ride leaf springs, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar links, and bump stop brackets. In the rear, the kit uses replacement Glide-Ride full leaf spring packs and u-bolts. Precision-tuned shocks are included front and rear, with a choice of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series.

BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design using an exclusive triple-stage construction. This design provides a smooth ride under any load, reduces axle wrap, and maintains flexibility throughout the suspension cycle. A forged drop pitman arm paired with a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket keeps steering geometry in phase through suspension travel and recenters the front axle.

Important Notes

• Models with a rear CV-style driveshaft may experience driveline vibration.
• If your vehicle is equipped with a rear anti-sway bar, consider the rear sway bar links available in the options section.
• Front and rear driveshaft modification will be required.
• Due to variance from the factory in rear block height, it may be necessary to change the factory block to achieve a desired stance.
