This 8-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for the 2000-2005 Ford Excursion 4WD, providing improved stance, performance, and capability with clearance for up to 36-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes Glide-Ride leaf springs, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar links, bump stop brackets, and precision-tuned shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes a replacement Glide-Ride full leaf spring pack, u-bolts, and a matching set of shocks. BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs with a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design using an exclusive triple-stage configuration to provide a smooth ride under any load, reduce axle wrap, and maintain flexibility throughout the suspension cycle. A forged drop pitman arm and heavy-duty track bar drop bracket work together to minimize steering angle and keep steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
Models with a rear CV driveshaft may experience driveline vibration. Front and rear driveshaft modification will be required. Due to OE variances, you may need to change the rear block to level the truck. Part numbers #003202, #003402, #003602, #003609, #003802, and #003809 come with rubber bushings installed.
