This 6-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 2000–2005 Ford Excursion 4WD models, improving stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for tires up to 35 inches. Up front, the kit includes Glide-Ride leaf springs, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar links, and bump stop brackets. In the rear, the kit uses a high-strength lift block, longer u-bolts, and matching shocks. Shock and rear lift configurations are available in multiple options to suit different needs and budgets.
BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design using an exclusive triple-stage construction. This design provides a smooth ride under any load and flexibility throughout the full suspension cycle.
A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle after the lift. A heavy-duty track bar drop bracket keeps steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
Remove the factory block prior to installation. Models with a rear CV driveshaft may experience driveline vibration. Due to OE variances, you may need to change the rear block to level the truck. Part numbers #003202, #003402, #003602, #003609, #003802, and #003809 come with rubber bushings installed.
