Rear lift uses replacement Leaf Springs featuring a multi-leaf progressive design for a smooth ride. Maintains factory payload weight ratings. Paired with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston, and application-specific valving with a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

BDS Suspension engineered this 5-inch lift kit with long arm conversion for 2000–2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD trucks to maximize performance on and off road. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to fit up to 35-inch tires. The long lower control arms reduce caster change through wheel travel, creating a more controlled steering feel. The 4-Link long arm system retains the factory triangulation of the arms for added suspension stability.

Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, all four control arms plus mounting bracket, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar drop brackets, and precision-tuned shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes heavy duty cast steel blocks and add-a-leaf combo (or leaf springs depending on variant selection), longer u-bolts, and a matching set of shocks.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs

A pair of full-length, diesel-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel and engineered with properly sized wire diameter, these direct OE replacement coil springs deliver maximum reliability without premature coil bind.

Steering Correction

A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle once the vehicle is lifted, and pairs with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep the steering components in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
