Overview

BDS Suspension has engineered this 5-inch lift kit for 1974–1993 Dodge RAM 1500 and 2500 4WD trucks to improve stance, performance, and capability. The kit includes everything necessary to complete the installation and provides clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, the kit features Glide-Ride leaf springs, a 3-inch steering block to correct steering linkage angles, and brake line brackets. The rear utilizes high-strength lift blocks, an add-a-leaf, and longer U-bolts. Each kit is completed with your choice of specially tuned NX2 Nitro Series or FOX 2.0 Performance Series gas shocks.

Glide-Ride Leaf Springs

BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs with a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride under any load. This is accomplished through an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design that delivers flexibility throughout the entire suspension cycle.

Important Notes

• The 3-inch steering block will only fit a Dana 44 with a 3-bolt knuckle to steering arm mount. Not for heavy-duty 3/4-ton versions.
• If the vehicle is equipped with a front sway bar, the links will need to be sectioned and lengthened.
• On models equipped with a 4WD dash light, the wiring will need to be lengthened.
• On models with a Saginaw or Corporate type front driveshaft, the CV cluster may require dressing to prevent binding.
• This kit includes 3 front U-bolts and 2 studs. Early 1974 models may use 4 square front U-bolts — verify before ordering. If your vehicle has 4 front U-bolts, use the 1969–1973 kit 200H instead.
