The BDS Single Steering Stabilizer Kit with NX2 shock is designed to enhance the handling of 1973–1987 Chevy/GMC trucks and 1969–1991 SUVs. Installing larger tires can exert additional force on a vehicle's suspension; this kit reduces bump steer and steering wheel feedback to help manage that added stress. BDS mounting brackets are constructed of high-strength steel and bolt on directly. When paired with a BDS lift kit, this stabilizer kit can help extend the service life of factory steering components.
The BDS NX2 Stabilizer features a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving for fast damping response across on- and off-road terrain. The 2-inch bodied shock uses a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, self-lubricating seals, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft to resist rock chips and corrosion.
This system is for 3-1/4" axle tube diameters only.
