Configured with a 3-inch rear block kit without overload — will result in a slightly tail-low stance. Paired with NX2 Nitro Series shocks featuring nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends for increased strength, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.
Overview
This BDS 6.5-inch lift kit is designed for the 2011–2019 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500 and provides increased ground clearance with fitment for tires up to 37 inches. The front end uses a No Torsion Bar Drop System, mounting the torsion bars directly to the top of the lower a-arm to eliminate the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member. High-clearance 1/4-inch thick laser-cut steel crossmembers and a multi-piece differential relocation bracket system secure the front axle while improving CV angles. CNC-machined ductile cast iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the new ride height and are designed to work with factory tie rod ends to maintain proper steering angles. A front skid plate system bolts together to form a rigid subframe for added underbody protection. In the rear, replacement lift blocks install in place of the stock block, retaining ride quality and load capacity. A u-bolt flip kit is also included on applicable configurations for maximum clearance.

Specifications
- Front lift: 6.5 inches via torsion bar relocation (No Torsion Bar Drop System)
- Rear lift: choice of 3-inch or 4-inch or 5-inch block kit (with or without overload, as selected)
- Crossmember material: 1/4-inch thick laser-cut steel
- Steering knuckles: CNC-machined ductile cast iron
- Brake lines: stainless steel
- Maximum tire size: 37 inches
Installation
- Estimated Time: 8–10 hours
- Difficulty: Difficult
- Tools Required: Cut-off wheel or equivalent, reciprocating saw, torsion bar unloading tool
Important Notes
- A torsion bar tool is required to load/unload the torsion bars.
- A 3-inch rear block kit is recommended for dually applications; the 5-inch rear block kit will not fit dually applications.
- Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled.
- Stock 20-inch x 8.5-inch wheels with 6.18-inch backspacing MAY fit with a maximum tire size of 37x12.50 on certain tire sidewall profiles due to clearance to the steering knuckle and sway bar. A minimum 1/4-inch wheel spacer may be required due to tire sidewall profile variations. A wider tire will cause clearance issues with the steering knuckle.
- Factory dually wheels cannot be reinstalled.
- Models with a two-piece rear driveshaft may require part #121612.
- If minor front driveline vibration occurs at highway speeds while in 4WD and the vehicle will be used in this situation regularly, replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft is recommended.
