BDS 4.5 Inch Lift Kit | Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500 (2001-2010) SRW 4WD | FOX 2.0 Performance Series | Standard Knuckle

Configured with FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston, application-specific valving, and a clear anodized finish.

Includes the Standard Knuckle, which widens the track width but does not affect the turning radius.

Overview

The BDS 4.5-inch lift kit is designed to improve stance, performance, and capability on the 2001–2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500 Single Rear Wheel (SRW) 4WD. The kit provides clearance for up to 33-inch tires and includes everything necessary for a comprehensive front and rear suspension lift. Up front, the system utilizes torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy duty skid plates for off-road protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. Also included are sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, and all required hardware. In the rear, BDS offers both replacement lift block and full Glide-Ride leaf spring options to lift and level the stance. The lift block installs in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. New U-bolts and brake line brackets are also included for the rear.

Important Notes

• Torsion Bar tool required to load/unload the torsion bars.
• Some welding is required.
• Requires frame bracket modification and differential mount modification.
• Traction bars will not fit standard cab/short box models and are designed to work on vehicles with 4" to 8" of lift.
• 20" wheels with 5" to 5-3/4" backspacing recommended to reduce trimming.
• Gas models require exhaust modification.
• Narrow track knuckle will slightly increase the turning radius.
• For tail high stance use #119157 add-a-leaf with the block kit.
• Not recommended for Suburban/Yukon models with AutoTrac Transfer Case.
• Does NOT work with rear Autoride equipped SUVs.
• Does not fit dual rear wheel (DRW) trucks.
