Configured with a 5-Inch Rear Block Kit, FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks, and Standard Knuckle. The 5-inch cast iron rear block replaces the factory 2-inch block, netting 3 inches of rear lift to level the vehicle, correcting pinion angles, and maintaining factory payload ratings. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact-extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston monotube design, CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, and a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft with application-specific valving. The standard knuckle widens the track width but does not affect the turning radius.
Overview
The BDS 6-inch lift kit is designed to improve stance, performance, and capability for the 2001–2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD. For maximum ground clearance, BDS engineered a No Torsion Bar Drop System where the torsion bars are mounted directly to the top of the lower a-arm, eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member. This kit includes everything necessary to accommodate up to 35-inch tires and takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for on-road handling.
Up front, the kit utilizes torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, and all necessary hardware are included. In the rear, the kit is available with either a replacement lift block or a full Glide-Ride leaf spring option, along with new u-bolts, brake line brackets, and a choice of shocks.

Important Notes
- Torsion bar tool required to load/unload the torsion bars.
- Some welding is required.
- Requires frame bracket modification and differential mount modification.
- Traction bars will NOT fit standard cab/short box models and are designed to work on vehicles with 4" to 8" of lift.
- Will NOT work on long bed models.
- 20" wheels with 5" to 5-3/4" backspacing are recommended to reduce trimming.
- Gas models require exhaust modification.
- The narrow track knuckle will increase the minimum full-lock turning radius; you will not be able to turn as sharply.
- For a tail-high stance, use #119157 add-a-leaf with the block kit or #069207 with the leaf spring kit.
- Dually applications will require custom u-bolts.
- Leaf spring option does not work with SUV applications.
