This configuration includes no rear lift block and FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks, suited for applications where rear block lift is not required.
Overview
This BDS Suspension 3-inch suspension lift kit with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coilover conversion is engineered for 2020–2026 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD diesel 4WD trucks. The kit converts the factory torsion bar front suspension to a coilover setup, improving stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Proprietary FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coilover shocks bolt on for increased travel and the ability to handle rough terrain while maintaining smooth on-road comfort.
Up front, the kit replaces the factory torsion bars with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coilovers, heavy-duty tubular upper control arms, fully boxed and gusseted lower control arms, and multi-piece differential relocation brackets to maintain correct CV angles. Sway bar links and all required hardware are included. In the rear, precision-tuned replacement lift blocks install in place of the stock block to lift and level the stance while retaining ride quality and load capacity. A U-bolt flip kit is also included for maximum clearance.

- Difficulty: Difficult
Important Notes
- Compatible with diesel models ONLY. Works with standard or AT4 diesel models. The use of the coilovers on gas engine models is not recommended due to providing too much lift. Available preload adjustment is typically not enough to achieve desired ride height.
- Models with two-piece rear drive shafts will require a carrier bearing drop kit (BDS121612).
- Requires frame bracket modification and minor welding.
- Disassembly/assembly of the factory torsion bar system requires the use of a special unloading tool. The GM specified tool # is CH48809.
- Some minor trim will be required with certain wheel/tire combinations. Trimming will normally include the bottom edge of the inner fender shrouds and/or lower corner of the front bumper valance. Deeper backspacing and shorter/narrower tires will reduce or eliminate trimming required. Further trimming tips are included at the end of the instruction sheet.
- Dually models will require aftermarket 20-inch wheels with a max tire size of 285/60/20.
- Factory 17-inch, 18-inch, and 20-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to upper control arm clearance.
- The coilover coil has a large amount of preload. A coil spring compressor must be used to remove the coil from the coilover. Failure to use a coil spring compressor may result in death or injury.
- Do NOT increase coilover preload.
- For replacement ball joints, use service kit BDS081203. Ball joints are directional and must be installed with the "dot" facing either inward or outward on the vehicle; otherwise damage may occur.
- Track width increases by 1 inch per side (2 inches overall) to improve travel range of the suspension and allow more droop travel from ride height, helping the coilover clear frame components.
