This variant includes the 6 Inch Block Kit With Overload rear lift option, intended for trucks manufactured with top-mounted overload springs on the rear leaf springs. DRW models should select this option.
Overview
This 6.5-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 2020–2026 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD trucks. The kit features a No Torsion Bar Drop System, mounting the torsion bars directly to the top of the lower a-arm and eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member for maximum ground clearance. The kit provides clearance for up to 38-inch tires and corrects suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling at the new ride height.
Up front, the kit includes torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, heavy-duty skid plates, CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, sway bar drops, stainless steel brake lines, and all required hardware. In the rear, replacement lift blocks and u-bolts level the stance while retaining ride quality and load capacity. Brake line and ABS line relocation brackets allow the use of factory brake lines. This kit is configured with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks, which feature a remote reservoir, a black anodized aluminum reservoir for increased cooling efficiency, and a DSC adjuster offering 10 separate low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels.
Features
- High-clearance design with no torsion bar drop maximizes ground clearance
- Robust CNC-machined ductile cast iron steering knuckles maintain ESC system compliance and correct steering geometry at ride height
- HD skid plate system for improved off-road protection
- Multipoint differential relocation brackets to secure the front axle and improve CV angles
- FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks designed specifically for increased travel and the ability to absorb rough terrain
- DSC adjuster provides precise tuning with 10 low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels via two adjuster knobs
- Remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to maintain cooling under demanding conditions
- Factory Protection Plus drivetrain warranty included

Important Notes
- For DRW models, use the With Overload rear lift option.
- Requires frame bracket modification.
- A Torsion Bar Tool is required to load/unload torsion bars.
- Models with two-piece rear driveshafts will require a carrier bearing drop kit.
- Factory 17–18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference; stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with up to a 35x12.50 tire.
- In some cases, vehicles used in 4WD on the highway frequently could potentially experience a minor front driveline vibration. If this occurs, replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft is recommended.
- Do not install this suspension system in conjunction with any type of torsion bar lift keys to achieve more than the tested 6.5-inch lift height.
- Some minor trim may be required with certain wheel/tire combinations. This is normal with most aftermarket tire/wheel fitment on Chevy/GM trucks and will normally include the bottom edge of the inner fender shrouds and/or the lower corner of the front bumper valance. Deeper backspacing and shorter/narrower tires will reduce or eliminate trimming required.
- Will NOT work with AT4X or ZR2 models — lower control arm profile is different.
