This variant includes the 5 Inch Block Kit Without Overload rear lift option. The replacement lift block installs in place of the stock block, retaining ride quality and load capacity. Intended for standard rear suspension configurations (non-DRW). Brake line and ABS line relocation brackets allow the use of factory brake lines.
Overview
This 5-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is engineered for the 2020–2026 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 4WD. BDS designed a No Torsion Bar Drop System that mounts the torsion bars directly to the top of the lower a-arm, eliminating the need to drop the torsion bar cross-member and maximizing ground clearance. The kit is designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, with clearance for up to 37-inch tires.
Up front, the kit uses torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates for off-road protection. CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the new ride height. Sway bar drops, stainless steel brake lines, and all required hardware are included for a comprehensive front suspension lift. In the rear, replacement lift blocks and u-bolts lift and level the stance while retaining ride quality and load capacity. Brake line and ABS line relocation brackets allow the use of factory brake lines. FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks are included, tuned and ready to install right out of the box.

Important Notes
- For DRW models, use the With Overload rear lift option.
- Requires frame bracket modification.
- A Torsion Bar Tool is required to load/unload torsion bars.
- Models with two-piece rear driveshafts will require a carrier bearing drop kit.
- Factory 17–18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference; stock 20" wheels can be reinstalled with up to a 35x12.50 tire.
- In some cases, vehicles used in 4WD on the highway frequently could potentially experience a minor front driveline vibration. If this occurs, replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft is recommended.
- Do not install this suspension system in conjunction with any type of torsion bar lift keys to achieve more than the tested 5-inch lift height.
- Some minor trim may be required with certain wheel/tire combinations. This is normal with most aftermarket tire/wheel fitment on Chevy/GM trucks. Trimming will normally include the bottom edge of the inner fender shrouds and/or the lower corner of the front bumper valance. Deeper backspacing and shorter/narrower tires will reduce or eliminate trimming required.
- Will NOT work with AT4X or ZR2 models — lower control arm profile is different.
