Description

This configuration includes FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks at both the front and rear. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 clear anodized aluminum one-piece body, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, an internal floating piston (IFP) monotube reservoir design, race-developed high-flow piston design, and application-specific valving to maximize performance.

Overview

BDS Suspension's 6-inch lift kit for the 2019–2026 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD (Gas) is engineered to improve stance, ground clearance, and off-road capability while maintaining on-road handling characteristics. The kit includes everything needed to achieve up to 35-inch tire clearance using a high-clearance design that corrects suspension and steering geometry at the new ride height.

Up front, the kit utilizes top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends, maintaining ESC system compatibility. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, and all necessary hardware are also included. In the rear, a heavy-duty lift block replaces the factory block, retaining ride quality and load capacity, complemented by new U-bolts, brake line brackets, and a choice of rear shocks.

Features

  • High-clearance crossmember design maximizes ground clearance using 1/4-inch thick laser-cut steel
  • Front skid plate system bolts together to create a rigid subframe with added off-road protection
  • CNC-machined ductile cast iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the lifted ride height
  • Replacement tie rod ends maintain proper steering angles and ESC system compliance
  • High-strength replacement upper control arms provide durability and serviceability
  • Multipoint differential relocation brackets secure the front axle and improve CV angles
  • Heavy-duty rear lift block retains factory ride quality and load capacity
  • Factory Protection Plus drivetrain warranty included

Specifications

  • Lift Height: 6 inches (actual ride height on coilover configurations is approximately 6.5 inches)
  • Front crossmembers: 1/4-inch thick laser-cut high-arched steel
  • Steering knuckles: CNC-machined ductile cast iron
  • Compatible tire size: Up to 35 inches
  • Vehicle fitment: 2019–2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 / GMC Sierra 1500, 4WD, Gas

Installation

  • Estimated Time: 8 hours
  • Difficulty: Difficult
  • Tools Required: 36mm Socket, Cut-Off Wheel or equivalent, Ball Joint Separation Tool, Reciprocating Saw, Welding Equipment

Important Notes

  • Requires frame bracket modification.
  • Factory 17–18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference; stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled.
  • 17-inch wheels with 4.5-inch backspacing should be test fit prior to mounting the tire to ensure proper clearance to the steering knuckle and tie rod.
  • All aftermarket wheels should be test fit prior to mounting the tire to ensure proper clearance to the brake caliper. Some wheel profiles will not clear the brake caliper. These can be test fitted before the vehicle is lifted in stock condition.
  • Actual ride height on coilover kit configurations is closer to 6.5 inches of lift.
  • If equipped with a mono-leaf rear spring, use part #UBT4064 (Qty 4 required).
  • 2.7L Turbo models must use the Diesel kit for proper skid plate fitment due to clearance issues with the intercooler pipe.
  • Will not fit models equipped with ARC.
