This configuration uses a 4 Inch Block Kit in the rear — providing a tail-low to level stance — with the 8-Bolt indexing ring kit (for Ram 3500 trucks equipped with the Aisin heavy-duty 6-speed transmission) and FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks. The 8-bolt kit includes an internal shaft seal extension and new shaft seal. The cast iron block is engineered to correct pinion angles, reduce axle wrap, and maintain factory payload ratings. FOX 2.0 shocks feature a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, and application-specific valving with a clear anodized finish.

Overview

This 6-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 2013–2018 RAM 3500 diesel-powered 4WD trucks, providing improved stance, performance, and capability with clearance for up to 37-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, radius arm drop brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, and brake line brackets. In the rear, the kit utilizes a high-strength fabricated lift block (or replacement leaf springs, depending on configuration), longer U-bolts, and a matched set of precision-tuned shocks.

Important Notes

The carrier bearing drop is necessary for models equipped with the two-piece rear drive shaft. Dually with 8-bolt Transmission (Aisin), require BDS122409 Def Relocation Kit. Mega Cabs with 8-bolt Transmission (Aisin), require BDS122409 Def Relocation Kit. Vehicles equipped with a Manual T-case requires BDS122423 Manual transfer case shifter extension. Vehicles equipped with a 2-piece rear drive shaft (carrier bearing), require BDS122406 Carrier bearing drop. Some vehicles may require a rear driveshaft spacer kit 122007 to maintain adequate rear driveshaft engagement.
