This configuration pairs FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coil-over shocks up front with FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP gas shocks in the rear, and is built for Ram 1500 Rebel trucks equipped with the standard wheel bearing assembly (standard OE knuckle).

Overview

This 5-inch coil-over suspension lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for the 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Rebel 4WD and features proprietary FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coil-over shocks up front. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. It takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for on-road handling.

Up front, the kit uses FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coil-over shocks, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends maintaining ESC system compatibility. Additional front components include sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, CV spacers, and all required hardware.

In the rear, the kit uses progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs, upper control arm relocation brackets to correct pinion angle, a track bar relocation bracket to correct axle positioning, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links. Rear shock options vary by variant (see variant details above).

FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Coil-Over Shocks

FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks are tuned and ready to install out of the box. These 2.5-inch diameter shocks include a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to maintain operating temperatures in demanding terrain. The DSC (Dual Speed Control) adjuster provides 10 separate low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels, adjustable via two knobs. The reservoir features a black anodized aluminum finish for increased cooling efficiency.

High-Clearance Crossmembers

BDS uses heavy-duty 1/4-inch thick laser-cut crossmembers to maximize ground clearance. Combined with a front skid plate system that bolts together into a rigid subframe, the design adds structural rigidity and off-road protection.

Important Notes

• Fits 4WD models only.
• RAMs with factory 22-inch wheels require the large bore knuckle variant due to a larger wheel bearing assembly. Reference build code WPM or WPZ.
• Will NOT fit models equipped with adjustable air ride suspension.
• Stock 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to steering interference. Stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with factory tire size.
• Will NOT work on diesel models.
• Will NOT fit 2019–2022 Ram 1500 Classic models. Refer to the 2018 kit listings.
• Will NOT fit models equipped with the Thermal Axle option. Reference build code DSK-P or check differential cover for cooling lines.
• IF USING 18-INCH WHEELS WITH MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED BACKSPACING, TEST FIT WHEELS ON VEHICLE BEFORE MOUNTING TIRES TO ENSURE CLEARANCE.
