Configured with 5 Inch Rear Coil Springs — recommended for vehicles that are level to 1 inch tail-high from the factory — paired with FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP shocks featuring a 2-inch impact-extruded aluminum body, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, a massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, race-developed high-flow piston design, application-specific valving, and a long-lasting clear anodized finish.

Overview

BDS Suspension's 6-inch suspension lift kit for the 2013–2018 RAM 1500 4WD is engineered to improve stance, performance, and capability, providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. Up front, the kit uses top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates for off-road protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends, maintaining ESC system compatibility. The front suspension is further completed with sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, CV spacers, and all necessary hardware. In the rear, the kit employs progressive-rate Pro-Ride coil springs, upper control arm relocation brackets to correct pinion angle, a track bar relocation bracket to correct axle positioning, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links. Rear damping is provided by your choice of NX2 Nitro Series or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks.

Important Notes

• The rack and pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As tire diameter increases and/or wheel backspacing decreases, the system becomes more sensitive and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
• Not recommended for AWD models.
• Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be re-installed. Stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with a factory tire.
• Will not fit adjustable air suspension equipped models.
• This kit will bolt on Eco-Diesel models but will require an aftermarket front drive shaft.
• TRX models will achieve approximately 1 inch of additional lift. This lift is not recommended for TRX models due to possible CV shaft vibration. Consider the 4-inch lift system for approximately 5 inches of lift, or replace the TRX struts with standard struts for use with this system.
