Overview
This BDS 4-inch Coilover Lift Kit for the Ram 1500 4WD (2013–2018) and Ram 1500 Classic 4WD (2019–2024) replaces factory components with heavy-duty, high-clearance parts engineered to handle any terrain. The front end is equipped with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Coilovers with DSC for adjustable damping control on- and off-road, complemented by 1/4-inch steel high-clearance crossmembers, HD skid plates, and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles that maintain proper geometry and ESC system compatibility. The rear lift is available with either a 2-inch coil spacer or 3-inch progressive-rate Pro-Ride coil springs, relocation brackets to correct pinion and axle geometry, and a choice of FOX rear shock. This kit clears up to 35-inch tires and includes Factory Protection Plus drivetrain warranty coverage.

Important Notes
- The rack-and-pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combinations. As tire diameter increases and/or wheel backspacing decreases, the system becomes more sensitive and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
- Not recommended for AWD models.
- Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled. Stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with a factory tire.
- Will not fit models equipped with adjustable air suspension.
- This kit will bolt on to Eco-Diesel models but will require an aftermarket front driveshaft.
- TRX models will achieve approximately 1 inch of additional lift. This lift is not recommended for TRX models due to possible CV shaft vibration caused by the additional lift. Instead, consider the BDS 4-inch lift system (for approximately 5 inches of lift) or replace TRX struts with standard struts for use with this system.
