Overview
BDS Suspension's 4-inch suspension lift kit is engineered for the 2012 RAM 1500 4WD, improving stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The kit takes advantage of BDS's high-clearance design to increase ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection, while correcting suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling.
Up front, the kit employs top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates. CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends correct steering geometry at the new ride height and maintain ESC system compatibility. Sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, CV spacers, and all required hardware are also included. In the rear, the kit uses either a 2-inch coil spacer or full replacement coil springs, along with rear upper control arm relocation brackets to correct pinion angle, a track bar relocation bracket to correct axle positioning, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links.

Important Notes
- These trucks vary from 1–3 inches tail high from the factory. Measure your vehicle before ordering. The 022209, 022309, and 022509 coil spacers can all be substituted to achieve the desired stance.
- The Rack and Pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As you increase tire diameter and/or decrease wheel backspacing, the system becomes more sensitive and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
- Not recommended for AWD models.
- Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled. Stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with the factory tire.
