Rear lift achieved via 2-inch coil spacer, maintaining factory spring rate and ride characteristics. Paired with FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, large 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, and application-specific valving for increased off-road capability.
Overview
This BDS 4-inch Coilover Lift Kit is designed for the 2009–2011 Ram 1500 4WD and delivers improved performance, stance, and strength. The front end is upgraded with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Coilovers with DSC (Dual Speed Compression Adjuster), 1/4-inch steel high-clearance crossmembers, HD skid plates, and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles that maintain proper geometry and ESC compatibility. The system clears up to 35-inch tires and replaces factory components with heavy-duty, high-clearance parts built to handle any terrain. Rear lift and shock options are available in multiple configurations to suit your preferred ride and performance needs.

- FMVSS No. 126 Compliant
Installation
- Estimated Time: 10 hours
- Difficulty: Moderate
- Tools Required: Cut-off wheel or equivalent, reciprocating saw
Important Notes
- The rack and pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As tire diameter increases and/or wheel backspacing decreases, the system becomes more sensitive and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
- Not recommended for AWD models.
- Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled. Stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with a factory tire.
- Will not fit adjustable air suspension equipped models.
- This kit will bolt on Eco-Diesel models but will require an aftermarket front drive shaft.
- TRX models will achieve approximately 1 inch of additional lift. This lift is not recommended for TRX models due to possible CV shaft vibration caused by the additional lift. Consider BDS's 4-inch lift system for approximately 5 inches of lift, or replace the TRX struts with standard struts for use with this system.
- This kit is FMVSS No. 126 Compliant.
