Configured for trucks with factory rear overload leaf springs. Includes FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks featuring a 2-inch impact extruded aluminum body, internal floating piston (IFP) monotube design, massive 5/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, race-developed high-flow piston, and application-specific valving with a clear anodized finish.

Overview

This 5.5-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion from BDS Suspension is designed for 2019–2024 Ram 3500 4WD gas-powered trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-Link control arms and conversion brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned nitrogen charged shocks. A transfer case indexing ring and new transmission crossmember are supplied to allow use of the factory front driveshaft at this lift height. In the rear, the kit utilizes a high-strength steel lift block, longer u-bolts, and a matching set of shocks.

4-Link Conversion

The BDS 4-Link conversion replaces the factory stamped steel radius arms to optimize suspension geometry for better handling characteristics while adding strength and stability. This bolt-on upgrade uses high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets to mount HD upper and lower control arms, correcting axle positioning and limiting caster change throughout wheel travel.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs

A pair of full-length, gas-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains.

Steering Correction

A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle once lifted, paired with a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Important Notes

Exhaust modification is required to clear the front driveshaft. The vehicle can be driven without a front driveshaft to an exhaust shop. A DEF tank relocation bracket (part# 122409) is required for this kit to work with Dually or Mega Cab Models with Aisin Transmissions (8-bolt). If equipped with a manual T-case, BDS122422 is required.
