Includes FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks featuring a 2.5-inch impact extruded aluminum body, massive 7/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, external reservoir design that separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, DSC Dual Speed Compression Adjuster, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, and application-specific valving. Fully serviceable. Kits come standard with 6-bolt indexing ring kit.

Overview

This 4-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion from BDS Suspension is designed for 2019–2023 Ram 3500 gas-powered 4WD trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-Link control arms and conversion brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation, and brake line brackets, along with precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. A transfer case indexing ring and new transmission crossmember are supplied to allow use of the factory front driveshaft at this lift height. In the rear, the kit uses a high-strength steel lift block, longer U-bolts, and a matching set of shocks.

4-Link Conversion

The BDS 4-Link converts the factory stamped steel radius arms to optimize suspension geometry for improved handling characteristics while adding strength and stability. This bolt-on upgrade uses high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets that allow mounting of HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning and limit caster change throughout wheel travel.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs

A pair of full-length, dual-rate Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains.

Steering Correction

A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle, paired with a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Important Notes

• Exhaust modification is required to clear the front driveshaft. The vehicle can be driven without a front driveshaft to an exhaust shop.
• Vehicles equipped with a Manual T-case require BDS122422 Manual transfer case shifter extension.
• Vehicles equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft (carrier bearing) require BDS122406 Carrier bearing drop.
• Select the rear box kit variant based on whether your Ram 3500 has the factory Rear Overload Leaf spring.
• Kits come standard with a 6-bolt indexing ring kit.
