BDS 5.5 Inch Lift Kit | Ram 2500 w/ Rear Air Ride (2014-2018) 4WD Gas | w/ NX2 Nitro Series Shocks

Configured with NX2 Nitro Series shocks front and rear. NX2 shocks feature a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, dual-welded ends for increased strength, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.

Overview

This 5.5-inch radius arm lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 2014–2018 RAM 2500 gas-powered trucks equipped with the factory rear air ride system. The kit improves stance, performance, and off-road capability while providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, heavy-duty radius arm drop brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation hardware, and brake line brackets. A transfer case indexing ring and new transmission crossmember are supplied to maintain proper front driveshaft use at this lift height. In the rear, the kit uses heavy-duty air bag spacers, a track bar relocation bracket, bump stop extensions, sway bar links, and new air ride leveling sensor brackets to re-position the ride height sensors and maintain full air bag range of motion.

Important Notes

• For OE Air Ride systems only.
• 6.4L gas models will require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft.
• 5.7L gas models may require exhaust modification as well.
• The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for modifications to be made before reinstalling the driveshaft.
