Overview
BDS Suspension offers a 4-inch suspension lift kit for 2013–2018 Ram 1500 trucks equipped with the factory rear air ride system. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to run up to 35-inch tires. The kit employs a high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and off-road protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling.
Up front, the kit uses top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, a multi-piece differential relocation bracket, and heavy-duty skid plates. Steering geometry is corrected at the new ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends, maintaining ESC system compatibility. Additional front components include sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, CV spacers, and all required hardware.
In the rear, the kit uses top-mounted air bag spacers, upper control arm relocation brackets to correct pinion angle, a track bar relocation bracket to correct axle positioning, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links. New air lines, fittings, and ride height sensor brackets are supplied to maintain proper positioning and functionality of the factory air ride system at the new height.

Important Notes
- The Rack and Pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. As you increase the tire diameter and/or decrease the wheel backspacing the more sensitive the system becomes and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
- This kit fits factory air ride-equipped trucks only.
- The factory air ride is a closed-loop system. Opening the system more times than recommended in the lift instructions or factory service manual will require the system to be recharged. This can be done at any Ram dealer service department.
- Stock 20-inch wheels can be reinstalled with factory-sized tires only. Stock 17-inch and 18-inch wheels will not fit.
- This kit will bolt on Eco-Diesel models but will require an aftermarket front drive shaft.
