Rear Lift Option: Leaf Springs — Multi-leaf progressive design rear leaf springs providing a smooth ride with a level stance front to rear. Maintains factory payload weight ratings, eliminates any need for a lift block, and reduces axle wrap for a more controlled and stable feel.

Shock Option: FOX 2.5 Performance Elite — Premium FOX 2.5 Performance Elite IFP nitrogen-charged shocks front and rear for enhanced ride quality and off-road performance.

Overview

BDS Suspension engineered this 5.5-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion for the 2013–2018 RAM 3500 gas-powered truck. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, the kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up with clearance for up to 37-inch tires. Up front, the kit features gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-Link control arms with conversion mounts, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, and brake line brackets. In the rear, a high-strength fabricated lift block (or optional leaf springs), longer U-bolts, and a matching set of shocks are included. Shocks are available in NX2 Nitro Series, FOX 2.0 Performance Series, or FOX 2.5 Performance Elite configurations.

4-Link Conversion

The BDS 4-Link conversion replaces the factory stamped steel radius arms to optimize suspension geometry for better handling, strength, and stability. This bolt-on upgrade uses high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets that allow mounting of HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning while limiting caster change throughout wheel travel.

Pro-Ride Coil Springs

A pair of full-length, gas-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains.

Steering Correction

A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle after lifting, paired with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering geometry in phase through suspension travel and recenter the front axle.

Important Notes

• 6.4L gas models will require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. 5.7L gas models may require exhaust modification as well. The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for modifications to be made before reinstalling the driveshaft.
• The carrier bearing drop is necessary for models equipped with a two-piece rear driveshaft.
• Some vehicles may require a rear driveshaft spacer kit (122007) to maintain adequate rear driveshaft engagement.
• DRW models: fit inner wheel clearance to the upper U-bolt plate on 5.5–6-inch kits.
