Configured with FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks featuring a 2.5-inch impact extruded aluminum body, massive 7/8-inch hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft, external reservoir design that separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, DSC Dual Speed Compression Adjuster, CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum mounting ends, application-specific valving, and a clear anodized finish. Fully serviceable for a lifetime of use.
BDS Suspension engineered this 5.5-inch lift kit with 4-Link conversion for the 2014–2018 RAM 2500 gas-powered truck. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, the kit includes everything necessary to lift the truck and provide clearance for up to 37-inch tires.
Up front, the kit includes gas-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-Link control arms with conversion mounts, a forged drop pitman arm and track bar bracket for steering correction, bump stops, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned shocks. A transfer case indexing ring and new transmission crossmember are supplied to allow use of the factory front driveshaft at this lift height. In the rear, the kit utilizes progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs, a track bar relocation bracket, bump stop extensions, sway bar links, and a matching set of shocks.
The BDS 4-Link converts the factory stamped steel radius arms to optimize suspension geometry for better handling while adding strength and stability. This bolt-on upgrade uses high-strength 1/4-inch steel brackets to mount HD upper and lower control arms, correcting axle positioning and limiting caster change throughout wheel travel.
Full-length, gas-specific, progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are supplied front and rear to provide the correct lift height and a smooth, predictable ride across various terrains. Manufactured from high tensile steel with properly sized wire diameter, these direct OE replacement coil springs deliver maximum reliability without premature coil bind.
A forged drop pitman arm minimizes the steering angle once lifted, paired with a heavy duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering geometry in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.
6.4L gas models will require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. 5.7L gas models may require exhaust modification as well. The vehicle can be driven without the front driveshaft to an exhaust shop for modifications to be made before reinstalling the driveshaft.
