BDS 6 Inch Lift Kit | Ram 2500 Diesel 4WD (2014-2018) | NX2 Nitro Series Shocks

Configured with NX2 Nitro Series shocks front and rear. NX2 shocks feature a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, dual-welded ends for increased strength, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.

Overview

This 6-inch radius arm lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 2014–2018 RAM 2500 diesel-powered 4WD trucks. The kit improves stance, performance, and off-road capability, providing clearance for tires up to 37 inches. Up front, the kit includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, heavy-duty radius arm drop brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation hardware, and brake line brackets. In the rear, the kit uses progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs, a track bar relocation bracket, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links. A transfer case indexing ring and new HD transmission crossmember are included to allow use of the factory front driveshaft at this lift height.

In place of the factory stamped steel radius arms, BDS supplies high-strength tubular radius arms that mount in the factory location, offer caster adjustment across a wide range of lift heights, and use an OE-style rubber bushing at the frame mount for smooth, quiet, service-free operation.

The diesel-specific progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs are manufactured from high tensile steel with a properly sized wire diameter, engineered as direct OE replacements for maximum reliability without premature coil bind. Steering geometry is optimized via a forged drop pitman arm and a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket to keep steering components in phase through suspension travel while recentering the front axle.

Important Notes

• Not for use with factory rear airbag suspensions.
• Indexing ring only fits 6-bolt transfer cases (most common). Some heavy-duty tow package vehicles could have 8-bolt transfer cases (with Heavy-Duty Aisin 6-speed transmissions).
