Rear lift achieved with a 4 Inch Block Kit — high-strength fabricated lift blocks with longer U-bolts. Shocks: NX2 Nitro Series — nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends, 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, self-lubricating seals, and silver powder coat finish.
Overview
This 5-inch lift kit with 4-link conversion from BDS Suspension is designed for 2020–2022 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty gas-powered 4WD trucks (SRW models only). The kit improves stance, performance, and capability while providing clearance for up to 37-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes gasoline-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-link control arms with conversion brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the kit is available with either a high-strength fabricated lift block with longer U-bolts or replacement leaf springs, along with brake line brackets and a matched set of shocks.
4-Link Conversion
The BDS 4-link converts the factory stamped steel radius arms to optimize suspension geometry for improved handling, strength, and stability. This bolt-on upgrade uses high-strength ¼-inch steel brackets that mount HD upper and lower control arms to correct axle positioning and limit caster change throughout wheel travel.
Pro-Ride Coil Springs
A pair of full-length, gasoline-specific Pro-Ride dual-rate coil springs provide the correct lift height and smooth, predictable ride across various terrains.
Steering Correction
A forged drop pitman arm minimizes steering angle, while a heavy-duty track bar drop bracket keeps the steering components in phase through suspension travel and recenters the front axle.
Features
- 100% bolt-on installation
- Pro-Ride dual-rate coil springs for a smooth ride across any terrain

- Leaf springs feature cast iron multi-leaf progressive design, correct pinion angles, reduced axle wrap, and maintained factory payload weight ratings (leaf spring variants)
- Standard NX2 Nitro shocks with vehicle-specific valving
- Available upgrade to FOX 2.0 or FOX 2.5 Performance Series shocks for maximum on- and off-road performance
- Clears up to 37-inch tires
Specifications
- Lift Height: 5 inches
- Vehicle Fitment: 2020–2022 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty 4WD Gas, SRW models only
- Front: Gasoline-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, 4-link control arms with conversion brackets, forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket, sway bar relocation, brake line brackets
- Rear: High-strength fabricated lift block with longer U-bolts (block kit) or multi-leaf progressive leaf springs (leaf spring option), brake line brackets
- Tire Clearance: Up to 37 inches (minor trimming may be required for 37x12.50 on certain wheel setups)
- 4-Link brackets: ¼-inch high-strength steel
Installation
- Estimated Time: 8–10 hours
- Difficulty: Difficult
- Special Tools Required: Cut-off Tool, Pitman Arm Puller; torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs
Important Notes
- Ford recommends replacement of the pitman arm nut each time it has been removed.
- If installed on a truck with a top-mounted overload spring, an overload spacer block taller than 1-1/8" — UBT4027 (Qty: 4) — is required.
- Front exhaust modification may be required to clear the front drive shaft (Gas Only).
- Use a small pitman arm puller to remove the drag link joint and steering stabilizer taper.
- If the truck is equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required: BDS123402.
- Due to the taller factory ride height, Tremor models will not net the full advertised lift height. The final ride height will be the same as standard models.
- Larger tires on the stock wheel are not recommended due to brake line clearance requirements. Use recommended specs listed in the wheel and tire fitment section.
- Minor trimming may be necessary for clearance of 37x12.50 tires on certain wheel setups.
- Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs.
- Some trucks with rear driveline vibration may have a recall from Ford regarding the rear axle (Safety Recall 21S31). BDS recommends having this recall performed prior to installing the lift.
- Fits SRW models only.
