Configured for Cast Aluminum OE Knuckle models (2020+ Rangers) with NX2 Nitro Series rear shocks. NX2 Nitro shocks feature a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, dual-welded ends for increased strength, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish.
Cast Aluminum knuckle models use different ball joints than Cast Steel knuckle models. Verify your factory knuckle type before ordering.
Overview
BDS Suspension's 6-inch suspension lift kit is engineered for 2019–2023 Ford Ranger 4WD trucks, providing improved stance, performance, and capability with clearance for up to 35-inch tires. The kit employs a high-clearance design to maximize ground clearance, structural strength, and off-road protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for proper on-road handling at the new ride height.
Up front, the kit utilizes high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, top-mounted strut spacers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and a skid plate for off-road protection. Steering geometry is corrected via a pair of CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. Sway bar relocation brackets, brake line brackets, alignment cam bolts, and all necessary hardware are included for a comprehensive front suspension installation. In the rear, a heavy-duty replacement transfer case crossmember, high-strength fabricated lift blocks, and longer U-bolts lift and level the stance.
Features
- High-clearance crossmembers improve strength and off-road capability
- Heavy-duty CNC-machined ductile cast iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry and maintain ESC system compatibility
- Top-mounted strut spacers provide lift and install easily
- Differential skid plate for improved off-road protection
- Rear lift blocks and U-bolts to lift and level the stance
- Standard NX2 Nitro shocks with vehicle-specific valving for better control
- Available upgrade to FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks for maximum on- and off-road performance

Important Notes
- Requires frame bracket and differential modification. If using a plasma cutter for the frame bracket modification, disconnecting the battery is highly recommended.
- Stock 17–18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled.
- When balancing tires for 17–18-inch wheels, wheel weights are best positioned towards the center of the wheel to avoid interference with the tie rod end.
- Rack and pinion steering is sensitive to tire choice. Aggressive tires, smaller backspacing, or tires that require several wheel weights may induce steering wheel wobble.
- Will not work on Tremor model.
- Ford produces two knuckle/control arm configurations in 2020+ model Rangers. Cast Steel knuckle-equipped models have different ball joints than models equipped with Cast Aluminum knuckles. Verify which factory knuckle your truck has before ordering.
