Overview

The BDS Driveshaft Boot Extension is designed to prevent front driveline damage on lifted 2001–2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks. The factory front driveshaft boot is made of a stiff rubber that becomes less pliable with age and exposure to the elements. Because ample driveshaft slip is available, BDS lift kits are able to utilize the factory front driveshafts without lengthening. This boot extension allows the factory boot to retain its original running length after the shaft slip moves out approximately 1" to compensate for the new front differential position following lift installation.
