Rear lift achieved via a 4 Inch Block Kit with Add-A-Leaf. Cast steel lift blocks and an add-a-leaf combine to deliver rear lift height and a level stance. Paired with NX2 Nitro Series shocks featuring a nitrogen-charged twin-tube design, 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, dual-welded ends, and vehicle-specific valving for improved control.

Overview

This 6-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed for 1973–1976 Chevy and GMC 3/4 ton trucks and SUVs (K20/K25) 4WD, improving stance, performance, and capability with clearance for up to 36-inch tires. Up front, the kit includes Glide-Ride leaf springs, a 4-inch steering arm for steering correction, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes either a high-strength lift block with add-a-leaf or replacement Glide-Ride leaf springs, longer U-bolts, and a matched set of shocks.

BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs use an exclusive triple-stage, multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that delivers a smooth ride under any load while providing flexibility throughout the suspension cycle.

Important Notes

• The 3/4 ton commonly came with a factory 56-inch eye-to-eye rear leaf spring. However, some were produced with a 52-inch rear spring. If ordering rear leaf springs, measure your factory rear spring before ordering.
• If equipped with a factory front sway bar, order the front sway bar shackle link kit listed in the accessories section.
• #001608 comes with OE-style rubber bushings installed.
• Exhaust modification may be required to clear the front driveshaft.
