Overview

After lifting a 1976–1986 Jeep CJ5, CJ7, or Scrambler, installing a drop pitman arm is highly recommended to correct the vehicle's steering geometry. This 4-1/4 inch drop pitman arm is specifically engineered for lifted applications, maintaining a parallel relationship between the track bar and drag link to correct steering alignment. It reduces steering vibration and helps minimize bump steer.

If your vehicle is equipped with manual steering, you can buy the kit without the PS pitman arm, but BDS Suspension does not offer a manual steering pitman arm. You will need to acquire this from another source.
